State lookup

Choose any state or DC and get one card: the medical board licence lookup and board of pharmacy link (each checked on a recorded date), Interstate Medical Licensure Compact membership, the telehealth in-person exam rule for non-controlled drugs with the statute we read or an honest 'check with the board', the Medicaid fee-for-service position on anti-obesity GLP-1s with its source and date, and compounding notes where a state source exists. Compare two states side by side and copy everything as plain text. Nothing is scored or recommended.

What it computes

Pick a state, see its licence lookups, compact status, telehealth rule and Medicaid position, and copy the links.

Never pre-fills a dose

Pick a state

Use the state where you will be located during the telehealth visit; that is the state whose rules apply.

Useful if you split time between two states or are moving.

Choose a state to see its prescriber licence lookup, board of pharmacy, compact status, telehealth prescribing rule for non-controlled drugs, Medicaid position on anti-obesity GLP-1s, and any compounding notes, each with its source and check date. 51 jurisdictions are loaded.
Formula
card(state) = licence lookup (state medical board, checked by request on the date shown)
+ board of pharmacy (Compounding Explained verified list, shared data file)
            + IMLC membership (Commission participating-states map, imlcc.com)
+ telehealth rule (statute or board rule text read on the date shown, else 'check with the board')
+ Medicaid status (KFF January 2026 map, replaced by a state agency source where one exists)
+ compounding notes (state primary sources only) + the federal FDA baseline
counts: 47 of 51 telehealth rules verified; 37 lookups checked live, 14 browser-only; 45 compact participants incl. DC; 13 Medicaid programs covering

Nothing is scored, ranked or recommended. A field we could not verify from a primary source says so instead of guessing.

Assumptions, checked September 4, 2026
  • Licence-lookup addresses were requested from a server with a desktop browser user agent; a 200 (or 202 for single-page apps) is recorded as checked, and a 403, 405, 503 or bot wall as browser-only.
  • Telehealth entries describe non-controlled drugs only and the in-person exam question only. Standard-of-care, consent, record-keeping and audio-only rules are in the cited text and are not summarised here.
  • Medicaid entries describe fee-for-service coverage of GLP-1s prescribed for obesity. Diabetes coverage is separate. Managed-care plans may differ.
  • IMLC membership means an expedited path to a full licence in that state; it is not a multistate licence and it does not change the state's telehealth rules.
  • The compact site is imlcc.com. The older imlcc.org domain no longer belongs to the Commission and is not linked anywhere on this site.
  • Directory last reviewed 2026-09-04. Individual fields carry their own dates.
